The short version of the gay Christian movement to catch up to present day is:

Jer 23:3-4

3        And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase.

4        And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the LORD.

In 1967 the Catholic gays rose up and founded Dignity (link). It quickly grew to international outreach with churches in most large cities in the USA and many around the world. Generally Dignity was allowed to meet in Catholic churches with their own priests.  I believe it was Vatican II with many changes in the Catholic Church that came the change in how the Vatican would handle gays. No longer were gays permitted to have their own priests or meet in Catholic churches. However, it was permitted gays can meet with an approved heterosexual priest and using church facilities. Some gays this was acceptable, but the main core of Dignity could not accept such flagrant treatment and so moved out of Catholic churches into their own meeting places, but still remaining Catholic. Dignity continues to grow till this day.

In 1968 Protestant gays rose up and began Metropolitan Community Church. The founder was from the Four Square Churches and so was Pentecostal, however, fearing alienation from the larger gay Christian community set about to design a church that would be acceptable to all denominations and genders inclusive. (Gender inclusive means as much as possible to change all pronouns to he or she or non gender specific). This of course does not wash well with Pentecostal gays. Also pastors reflect their background denominations in style and presentation of sermons. MCC was largely responsible for professionally presenting the first positive research and Bible correct meaning to the verses commonly used to condemn gays. MCC has grown enormously through out the world and found in most larger cities and many not so large.

In 1969 secular gays rose up during a police raid at a gay bar which was a popular transvestite bar with stage shows. This raid was the last straw for several gays and transvestites. They resisted arrest then later began secular work in gay rights. So through courts and politics and LAW and education gays begin what we call the gay rights movement which is celebrated annually in June in recognition of that event and the Stonewall Bar. Many gay Christian do get involved, but as support to secular gay rights efforts. This has progressed immensely year by year. Since I began calculating and estimating percentage of pro-gay acceptance  since 1969 when I first went to my gay bar till now with about 700,000 contacts with people that think gay is wrong or a sin I have found in 1968 I can say about 100% outside of heavy gay bar areas were against gays. In 1986 when my weekly TV programs were generally 100,000s of viewer calls on my six phone lines at that time the percentage was 75% cons gays 25% pros. Currently it is at 50/50 on most gay issues. Gay marriage issues changes this 50/50 to 60 cons to 40 pros. I can accept a few percentage points off, but I just have to much info coming at me to wavier much from these statistics.

Through out this time many Christian gays broke into groups and organizations that are based in their Christian backgrounds, and nearly all denomination and religions are covered. Also almost every kind of imaginable group covering all the various interest related activities under the sun meet regularly.

In 2005 Pentecostal gays will begin (though there have been some churches popping up here and there through the years). My huge concerns have been constantly why have the gay Pentecostals kept so silent.  I have agonized of this for 31 years. I see all the other gay Christian’s groups and church (non-Pentecostal) grow or continue as would any mainline church or groups that is not Pentecostal. I wonder how gay Pentecostals can go to these churches without compliant or feeling emptied or missing something. I have enjoyed many years in gay churches, but have felt this huge gap and felt I had to retrain myself from worshipping as I believe being in the Assemblies of God for now 31 years. I have imagined and have heard gay Pentecostals usually just go to their mainline Pentecostal church and suffer the frequent condemnation of gays in the sermons that just do not seem to ever get through a sermon that at some must include condemnation of gays to highlight some point that sermon. After all like me, Pentecostal is a very powerful connection to Jesus that non-Pentecostal can not or will not try to understand. Being a Pentecostal really is amazing and very hard maybe to put into words that a non-Pentecostal can understand for they often believe they are very close to Jesus and there is no need to get anything more. Operations in Spiritual gifts is not required to be a Christian, but it is hard to understand why any Christian would want to live a day without the Baptism in the Holy Spirit.

Acts 2:1-4 1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

1 Cor 12:4-11

4          Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.

5          And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.

6          And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.

7          But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.

8          For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

9          To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;

10        To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

11        But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

Up to now Pentecostal gays have had to sit back for a couple reasons. I think the main reason is HOW do you confront the Holy Spirit? After all here are these straight Christians that adamantly believe in Jesus with plenty enough credentials of their living for him and who operate in these gifts and believe that what gifts they do not have even if they have no gift their comfort lies in knowing and believing in the Pentecostal way and almost all of them think gay is sin. How can a gay Pentecostal dare stand up? They would not even be given a chance. Gay Pentecostals may feel that after all their straight Pentecostal brothers and sisters could be right. How can they be wrong since they are operating in the Holy Spirit?  So, they adjust and accept living on the crumbs and the muddied water that drop off the table of their pastors.

Ezek 34:17-22

17        And as for you, O my flock, thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I judge between cattle and cattle, between the rams and the he goats.

18        Seemeth it a small thing unto you to have eaten up the good pasture, but ye must tread down with your feet the residue of your pastures? and to have drunk of the deep waters, but ye must foul the residue with your feet?

19        And as for my flock, they eat that which ye have trodden with your feet; and they drink that which ye have fouled with your feet.

20        Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD unto them; Behold, I, even I, will judge between the fat cattle and between the lean cattle.

21        Because ye have thrust with side and with shoulder, and pushed all the diseased with your horns, till ye have scattered them abroad;

22        Therefore will I save my flock, and they shall no more be a prey; and I will judge between cattle and cattle.

Pentecostal gays have been reluctant to operate in the Holy Spirit publicly, but this is about to change. God has given me plenty of visions and have told me often and has filled my heart with the knowledge of what will be in the Last Days. Many gay Pentecostals longed for this day. I think because what we are now calling RED states and BLUE states turned the page in God’s timeline. This was an election that was the final chance for God’s people to do some research on this issue and the one they voted into office.  It has become well accepted that what got Bush elected was not the war on terror but gay marriage issues. The assumption that Bush would bring Christian values to office. Bush is a 33^rd mason he worships Lucifer, this is not hard to learn. But for the sake of condemning gays as sin, Christians failed to do homework and elected a person that intends harm to all Christians. This is a turning point. God, who has been giving his people chance after chance after chance just gave the last chance to his people.  Pentecostal gays now will be woken up, they will catch fire. Examples of this is TBN 31 years ago made Christian television worldwide, and the history of Pentecostals speaks for itself. So will this coming movement of gay Pentecostals. When the operation in the Spirit begin to become public in gays, it will start a snowball effect across the entire gay community Christian or not. It will boggle the minds of ordinary Christian folk around the world.  This day I believe will begin to be seen in 2005. I urge all Pentecostal gays call on the Name of Jesus and begin to operate in your gifts where ever you go . . .
