 But there are some facts on 1 Cor 6:9. Around 1850 there was the regular clergy convention held as usual each year, but this time one of its subjects was this verse and how to teach it and what should it mean.

1 Cor 6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, (KJV)

3120 malakos (mal-ak-os'); of uncertain affinity; soft, i.e. fine (clothing); figuratively, a catamite: KJV-- effeminate, soft.

733 arsenokoites (ar-sen-ok-oy'-tace); from 730 and 2845; a sodomite: KJV-- abuser of (that defileself) with mankind.

4205 pornos (por'-nos); from pernemi (to sell; akin to the base of 4097); a (male) prostitute (as venal), i.e. (by analogy) a debauchee (libertine): KJV-- fornicator, whoremonger.

6945 qadesh (kaw-dashe'); from 6942; a (quasi) sacred person, i.e. (technically) a (male) devotee (by prostitution) to licentious idolatry: KJV-- sodomite, unclean.

^I^ Taken from Office 97's thesaurus for "catamite" and "sodomite" and “sodomy” and morality as you can see generally the concept applies to a very active person straight or gay and none of it in a loving caring long term relationship. Remember this is not ancient Hebrew of Greek but words as they evolved to NOW.

Around 1850 there was the regular clergy convention held as usual each year, but this time one of its subjects was this verse and how to teach it and what should it mean? Heretofore, it was generally taught it meant it meant "masturbation". At this time they generally agree from a great deal of counseling that everyone does it and so Heaven would be empty. They decided they really needed to change their approach to this verse. They agreed together since generally everyone already believe gay was sin why not just change this verses' teaching to "gays won't inherit the kingdom". This sounded like a good idea, because they would have to do almost nothing to convince their congregations anything on this new change. It sure never got any benefit of the doubt concerning what the word actually means in the originals. I t just was so assumed that gay was sin and that  a sodomite was of course male to male sex. Now we reach the 1950s and time for an upgrade in a modern English translation (first one ASV 1946). So scholars came to this verse having been now taught since 1850 that it means "gay is sin" and the prevailing concept of gays at that time in 1940s and 1950s were the bars and restrooms with nothing that indicated something like we here about today concerning gays(gay marriage, gay coupes, gay unions, gay dating, 1000s of gay groups covering every walk of life and every denomination. If anyone heard about gays it was painted as a very sick person. Now of course we have the newest report from the American psychiatrist Assoc. saying gays get a clean mental bill of health. You tell me what was thought about gays in 1950 even by the most educated in the behavior sciences? I tell you that there would be no way these translators could have known better concerning gays. They should have known better concerning God's Word. They were the finest translators translating the most important book in the world. They made a huge mistake to say the least and may have purposely inserted a word not in the originals. They did in fact take arsenokoites and malakos out of the Bible as they translated 1 Cor. 6:9. ^i^ So what does this verse mean? Some say these 2 words are the fem and butch rolls in a gay relationship, as though all gay couples has to play a fem or a butch roll. Some say that it is the boy and man, kind of relationship (catamite being the boy and sodomite being the man). In King James day malakos meant weak and spineless. King James was very well known for his transvestitism. (Now proven to  be GAY himself) Sylvia Pennington (an Assemblies of God straight woman) work first trying to change gays in THE San Francisco ex-gay church where she knew over 100 men there, she later spent 25 years researching gays and the Bible living in the gay community. She found that 30 versions of the Bible since it was first assembled, agreed almost to the word on "neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers" but on " nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind" everyone differed. If it is so hard for the translators of all the past Church to translate this verse how did today's Church get better than they? Many of the past translators were very close to the time these words were in common use. Many of the recent new translations correctly translate it "male temple prostitutes, still avoiding catamites. Again all modern translations are satan counterfeits.

^i^ Now the correct way to discover what these words means is go to Jesus' day and see what was going on. In Corinth it was fairly well known that wealthy men often hired a callboy (young man or boy) to be seen with as a lover. This was considered a status symbol for them. These callboys (catamites) were quite expensive and weren't found on the street as common prostitutes. So what are you going to believe concerning this verse? Are you going to listen to those that tell you gays will not inherit the Kingdom or will you think about the history of this verse and the origins Greek meaning? More info click sodomites
